Off to a Strong Start!
The Philadelphia Phillies jumped out of the gates, showing promise in the bottom of the first inning with Kyle Schwarber and Alec Bohm getting on base. Nick Castellanos continued the momentum with an RBI double, bringing in Schwarber to tie the game at 1-1. The fans cheered even louder as Max Kepler grounded out to allow Bohm to score, giving us an early lead of 2-1.
Troubles Begin in the 3rd Inning
Our initial excitement was unfortunately short-lived. The Mets struck hard in the top of the 3rd with devastating back-to-back solo homers from Francisco Lindor, Brandon Nimmo, and Juan Soto, turning our 3-1 lead into a 4-3 deficit. The Phillies struggled to regain control, despite some spirited attempts in the subsequent innings. A Fight Till the End
Trea Turner took advantage of a bizarre fielding error by the Mets in the 5th inning, and Alec Bohm managed to bring him home, keeping the hopes alive with a score of 4-5. However, the Mets' explosive batting lineup proved to be too much to handle for our bullpen, notably with Soto once again knocking it out of the park for a formidable scoring lead.
Final Whistle and Reflections
As the game approached the 9th inning, the Mets' dominance only solidified with more runs pouring in, highlighted by an Alvarez homer. Despite showing heart and effort, our Phillies were unable to make a dent in the Mets' lead, and we ultimately conceded the game 11-4. While it's disheartening, the resilience shown in various innings and the unwavering support from the fans are positives to carry forward. Hopefully, the Phillies can adjust and rebound in the next engagement.

Let's regroup, fans, and keep cheering. Go Phillies!
