Another Thrilling Comeback! Phillies Beat Mets 6-4! 🎉

What a game! The Philadelphia Phillies showed incredible resilience to come back and secure a 6-4 victory over the New York Mets. Being a Phillies fan is never dull, and today’s game was a perfect example of why. 💥

Slow Start, But Harper Brings the Fire! 🔥

The game didn’t start off great for us. The Mets managed to get on the board early, taking advantage of some walks in the first inning to score a run. By the 3rd inning, the Mets had built a 4-0 lead thanks to timely hits and a triple by Starling Marte. But leave it to our star, Bryce Harper, to get us back in the game with a solo homer in the bottom of the 4th inning! That blast cut the deficit to 4-1 and gave us some much-needed momentum.

Harper Strikes Again & Stevenson’s Heroics! 🙌

In the 6th inning, Bryce Harper came through again with another clutch home run, driving in Trea Turner and reducing the Mets' lead to just one run. Then in the 7th inning, after Bryson Stott and J.T. Realmuto reached base, Cal Stevenson doubled to right field to bring them both home and give us a 5-4 lead! That was followed by a crucial insurance run in the 8th inning when Nick Castellanos scored on a double by J.T. Realmuto.

Lockdown Pitching to Seal the Win! 🏅

Our bullpen was lights out! Ryan Kerkering and Jeff Hoffman got us through the 7th and 8th innings unscathed. And in the top of the 9th, Carlos Estévez shut the door, despite a lead-off single. He finished strong, getting the final two outs to secure the exciting 6-4 win.

Seeing the Phillies notch another victory, especially against the Mets, feels fantastic! Let’s keep this momentum going, Phils! 💪
