Mariners Dominate Mets in Massive 12-1 Victory! 🎉⚾️

What a game, Mariners fans! The Seattle Mariners took on the New York Mets and completely dominated, securing a 12-1 victory. Our team showed impressive performance, with key players stepping up big time.

Early Innings: A Pitcher's Duel

The first inning was quiet for both sides. Victor Robles lined out, and Randy Arozarena struck out swinging. Cal Raleigh managed a single, but we couldn't capitalize with Julio Rodríguez striking out. The Mets experienced similar struggles, with Francisco Lindor, Brandon Nimmo, and J.D. Martinez all being retired, leaving the score 0-0.

Polanco Sparks the Offense 🌟

In the bottom of the second inning, Jorge Polanco hit a massive 416-foot homer to center, giving us an early lead, 1-0. Although we didn't add more runs in that inning, it was the spark we needed.

Building the Lead 🏘️

The bottom of the 5th saw a huge breakthrough. Dominic Canzone hit a ground-rule double, followed by Arozarena reaching base and driving in Canzone for another run. Then, Cal Raleigh hit a 415-foot homer, bringing the score to 4-0. In the top of the 6th, the Mets' Jeff McNeil managed to get one run back with a solo homer, but the Mariners responded swiftly in the bottom of the inning.

Explosive 6th Inning 🚀

The bottom of the 6th was a masterclass in hitting and capitalizing on mistakes. Polanco started things with a double, followed by patient at-bats resulting in loaded bases. An error by McNeil allowed us to score more, and Raleigh hit another home run, making it 10-1. It was a thrilling inning that put the game out of reach for the Mets.

Closing It Out in Style 🌟

In the bottom of the 7th, Victor Robles walked, driving in another run, followed by Arozarena being hit by a pitch with the bases loaded, making the score 12-1. Our relief pitchers did their job fabulously, with Voth and others maintaining control till the end.

Final Thoughts 🗣️

It was a fantastic game from start to finish. Cal Raleigh had a particularly standout performance with multi-run homers, and Jorge Polanco set the tone early. Great team performance all around, and we look forward to more wins like this! Go Mariners! 🏆⚾💙
