Rangers Outlast Mets 5-3 in Thrilling Game! 
Hey, Rangers fans! What an exciting game we had, taking a victory over the Mets with a final score of 5-3! Let's break down this incredible matchup and relive some of the key moments that brought us the win.Early Struggles and Keeping It Close
The game started off with both sides showing some excellent pitching. We saw Francisco Lindor from the Mets start with a single but getting caught on the bases. Our guys were patient at the plate in the first; Robbie Grossman walked and ultimately scored when Wyatt Langford got hit by a pitch. This gave us an initial 1-0 lead, a promising start!
Middle Innings Drama and Alonso's Blast
The Mets tied it up in the 4th inning after a double from Starling Marte brought home a run. Then, disaster struck in the 6th inning when Pete Alonso smacked a two-run homer. The Mets took the lead 3-1, but our Rangers were not backing down.
In the bottom of the 6th, we answered back! Josh Smith scored Grossman with a double, and then Langford singled to left, bringing in Smith to tie the game at 3-3! Way to go, boys!
Taveras' Clutch Home Run and Solid Pitching to Close It Out
Into the 7th inning, new Mets pitcher Riley Smith came in, but it didn't hinder us. With Corey Seager on base, Leody Taveras smashed a two-run homer, putting us ahead 5-3. Our Texas crowd went wild!
The final innings showcased some amazing pitching from our relievers. José Ureña and Kirby Yates kept the Mets hitters at bay. Yates struck out Mark Vientos and handled Francisco Alvarez easily to seal our victory.
