Tough Game for the A’s 
It was a rough outing for our Oakland Athletics against the Boston Red Sox, ending in a 0-7 shutout. The Red Sox came out swinging from the start, while our bats couldn't find any rhythm. Let's break down what happened inning by inning.Early Trouble for the A's Pitching
The game started with some promise as JJ Bleday drew a walk, but we couldn’t capitalize as Miguel Andujar and Brent Rooker grounded into fielder's choices, ending our half of the first inning quickly. The bottom of the first was where the trouble began. Masataka Yoshida and Wilyer Abreu hit big, driving in three runs collectively, leaving us in an early 0-3 hole.Offense Struggles to Get Going
Our lineup had another quiet showing in the second and third innings, with strikeouts and quick outs being the trend. Meanwhile, Connor Wong and Wilyer Abreu added more runs for the Red Sox with homers. By the end of the fourth inning, it was 0-5, with our offense still searching for its first hit.Missed Opportunities
The fifth and sixth innings saw a bit of hope as Kyle McCann and Max Schuemann managed a couple of singles. However, opportunities were squandered with double plays and strikeouts ending any potential rallies. As the game went on, our struggles didn’t improve. The seventh and eighth innings also went scoreless for us, with Schuemann, Andujar, and Butler striking out in crucial moments. The Red Sox maintained their defensive hold throughout.A Shutout Finish 
In the ninth inning, Seth Brown reached on an infield single, a small glimmer of hope, but it was too little too late. Kyle McCann struck out to end the game.
