An Exciting Royals Victory! 
Royals fans, rejoice! The boys in blue came out on top against the Phillies with a solid 7-4 win. The game was filled with thrilling moments and stellar plays that kept us on the edge of our seats. Let's dive into the details of this victorious game! 
First Inning: Getting on the Board Early 
The game started somewhat slow, but by the bottom of the 1st inning, the Royals got on the board first. After Vinnie Pasquantino reached on an infield single, our beloved Salvador Perez smashed a double to left, driving in Pasquantino. Great job, Salvy! The inning ended with the Royals leading 1-0. 
Third Inning: Royals Explode Offensively 
The 3rd inning was where the real fun began. The Phillies tied the game 1-1 in the top half, but the Royals responded in spectacular fashion. Michael Massey and Pasquantino both singled, setting the stage. Then, Salvador Perez crushed a homer, adding two more runs to the board. Hunter Renfroe added to the excitement with a two-run homer of his own! By the end of this inning, the Royals had a commanding 6-1 lead. 
Mid Game: Holding the Lead 
In the 4th inning, the Phillies managed to score one more run. Bryce Harper's double and a productive ground out brought their score to 2. However, Paul DeJong returned the favor by doubling in the 5th inning, allowing Renfroe to score, making it 7-2. The Royals were doing a good job holding their ground.Late Innings: Closing Out the Game 
Though the Phillies tried to mount a comeback in the 8th inning, scoring two more runs, the Royals' bullpen held strong. Freddy Fermin stepped in as designated hitter and doubled to left, showing off some depth in our lineup.Final Inning: Sealing the Win 
The 9th inning brought some tense moments as the Phillies managed a double to right. But our pitching staff, notably Erceg, shut the door on them. Turner struck out looking to end the game, securing a splendid 7-4 victory for the Royals. What a game, Royals fans! Our boys played with heart and showcased all-around great team effort. Let's keep this momentum going!
