First Test in Texas

Early Setbacks
In the bottom of the first inning, the Rangers took an early lead with a homer by Joc Pederson, putting us down 2-0. We struggled a bit offensively in the first few innings. However, our defense came prepared, as Zack Wheeler struck out four Rangers by the end of the second!Turning the Tide
Into the fourth inning, Bryce Harper finally lit up the scoreboard for us, doubling to right field, bringing Trea Turner home and cutting the gap to 2-1. But it was Edmundo Sosa who really lifted us with a powerful 403-foot home run in the fifth, drawing us level at 2-2. After Bryson Stott did his thing on the bases stealing second, a sharp single by Weston Wilson propelled us to a 3-2 lead!
Holding the Line
Our bullpen kept the Rangers in check. Credit to our pitching squad as Jeffrey Banks, Matt Strahm, and Orion Kerkering held the fort effectively. Even with a nervy moment in the eighth, our defense remained solid. Hats off to Bryson Stott who made sure his presence felt with critical plays in scoring and defense.Sealing the Deal
Come the ninth inning, Harrison Bader managed to get on base with a hit by pitch, followed by some strategic plays leading up to Brandon Marsh's sac fly that secured a crucial insurance run, pushing us further ahead to 4-2!Victory at Last
In the closing inning, Jhoan Duran played the perfect closer by keeping the Rangers at bay and sealing a well-deserved victory for our boys. All in all, what a play by our Philadelphia Phillies. Let's carry this momentum forward and keep showing the strength we have this season. Go Phillies!
