Baltimore Orioles Clinch a Nail-Biter Against the Pirates!
What a game!

An Uneventful Start
Both teams started off with some excellent pitching and defensive plays, as neither team could get on the scoreboard through three innings. Although the Bucs’ Spencer Horwitz put the Pirates ahead with a solo home run in the 4th, the Orioles' pitching staff was relentless, shutting down subsequent scoring chances for Pittsburgh. A pitching duel continued through the middle innings, as our beloved O's couldn't quite get the bats going.Clutch Moments in the 8th!
Just when it seemed like the Pirates might sneak away with the victory, our lineup showed its mettle. Colton Cowser led with a single to right, followed by Dylan Carlson’s hit to center. With momentum on their side, the ever-reliable Jackson Holliday stepped up with a crucial single to left, driving in Cowser to equalize the game at 1-1!
Extra Innings Magic
Into the 10th we went, with the tension mounting at Camden Yards. Jorge Mateo came in as a pinch runner, setting the stage for the dramatic climax. After a well-earned walk by Cowser and a savvy bunt single from Daniel Johnson, it was Dylan Beavers who emerged as the hero of the night! His single to right brought Mateo sprinting home, sealing a 2-1 victory for the Orioles and sending fans into a jubilant frenzy!
