Padres Dominate Pirates 8-2 at Petco Park! 
What a game, Padres fans! The San Diego Padres crushed the Pittsburgh Pirates with an 8-2 victory at Petco Park. From the very first inning, our boys showed they were ready to dominate! 
A Hot Start for the Padres
The excitement began right away in the bottom of the 1st inning. Luis Arraez got things rolling with a single to center and made a daring steal to second. After Jurickson Profar's infield single advanced Arraez to third, Jake Cronenworth launched a stunning 348-foot homer to right field that brought both Arraez and Profar home.

The 2nd inning continued to show our dominance. After Tyler Wade singled to center and Luis Arraez doubled to left to bring Wade home, the score moved to 4-0. In the 3rd inning, Jake Cronenworth walked and Manny Machado followed with another walk. Then Jackson Merrill came through with a triple to right, scoring both Cronenworth and Machado. David Peralta didn't miss the chance either, hammering a 386-foot home run to right-center, making it 8-0!
Pitching and Defense Hold the Lead
Our pitchers were on fire, keeping the Pirates' bats silent. In the 6th inning, the Pirates finally managed to put a point on the board with a solo home run from Joey Bart, but it was too little too late. The Padres' defense remained impenetrable, allowing only one more run in the 9th inning.Closing Out the Game
Despite a small rally in the 9th inning by the Pirates, Adrian Morejon came in to close and struck out the final batters, sealing our 8-2 win. The infusion of Bryce Johnson in left field and the strength from David Peralta and Luis Arraez made it a game to remember.
