Tough Start for Padres in Los Angeles
Well, Padres fans, the game at Chavez Ravine didn’t start the way we hoped. We were up against the rivals, Los Angeles Dodgers, and they came out swinging in the bottom of the 1st. Freddie Freeman smashed a three-run homer, followed by another homer by Andy Pages, quickly turning a scoreless game into a 4-0 deficit. Our guys, including Fernando Tatis Jr. and Manny Machado, tried to get us going in the top, but unfortunately, we couldn’t get the bats going right away.
A Ray of Hope: Padres Fight Back
The middle innings gave us Padres fans something to cheer about!

Late Heartbreak: Dodgers Walk Off with the Win
Alas, the joy was short-lived. Dodgers’ Mookie Betts delivered the final blow with a solo homer in the bottom of the 8th, giving the Dodgers a 5-4 lead. Despite our boys showing heart up to the last at-bat in the 9th, the Dodger's bullpen held firm. Our rally fell just short. It's always a battle against these guys, and today's game was a reminder of that. But Padres fans, keep the faith! There's always another game and more opportunities to show our true colors. Go Padres!

Here's to bouncing back in the next game!
