Incredible Start! 
The Mets started with a bang! After the Padres took an early 1-0 lead thanks to a RBI single by Manny Machado, Francisco Lindor answered back immediately with a solo homer to right field! That was only a taste of what was to come. Brandon Nimmo followed with a single, and J.D. Martinez walked to set the stage for Pete Alonso. Alonso didn't disappoint, blasting a three-run homer! 
️ The score jumped to 4-1, and the Mets never looked back.Midgame Magic 
The Mets kept the pressure on. In the 4th inning, Luis Torrens singled, advanced on a wild pitch, and scored on a double by Harrison Bader. 
Bader wasn’t done yet; he moved to third on another wild pitch and scored on Lindor's sacrifice fly. J.D. Martinez then doubled to bring Nimmo home, extending the lead to an incredible 7-1.Padres Fight Back, But Mets Seal The Deal 
The Padres found some life in the 8th inning, scoring four runs and narrowing the gap to just 7-6. But the Mets weren’t about to let this one slip away!Luis Torrens led off the bottom of the 8th with a solo shot to center!
Then Jeff McNeil doubled, followed by a single from Bader, who later stole second. Base hits from Nimmo, Alonso, and key walks allowed the Mets to pile on four more runs, pushing the score to 11-6. Closing It Out 
In the top of the 9th, Sean Reid-Foley came in to close and did just that, retiring the side in order. Profar, Cronenworth, and Solano all grounded out to second, sealing a fantastic 11-6 victory for the Mets. 
This was an incredible team effort, with standout performances from Francisco Lindor, Pete Alonso, and Luis Torrens. What a game, Mets fans! Let's keep this momentum going!
