Cubs Come Back Strong in the 8th for a 5-2 Victory Over Giants! 
Hello Cubs fans! What a game today at Wrigley Field! Our beloved Cubs secured a thrilling 5-2 victory over the San Francisco Giants, thanks to a dominant performance in the late innings! Let's break down the action from start to finish. 
Slow Start But Steady Defense 
The game kicked off quietly with both teams struggling to get any momentum. In the first inning, the Giants went three-up and three-down, with our boys showing excellent defensive skills. Our lineup mirrored their start; Nico Hoerner, Michael Busch, and Cody Bellinger couldn't find their rhythm just yet.Swanson Powers Up in the 2nd Inning 
The Cubs' bats came alive in the bottom of the 2nd inning! After Ian Happ singled to center, Dansby Swanson launched a 401-feet homer to right center, bringing in 2 runs. What a shot! The Cubs led 2-0 and the crowd went wild! 
Giants Tie It Up in the 5th

With the game tied, the bottom of the 8th inning was where the magic happened. Michael Busch kickstarted the inning with a double, followed by Cody Bellinger's crucial single to bring Busch home. Seiya Suzuki and Ian Happ contributed with hits, extending our lead. New addition, Christopher Morel, came in clutch with an infield single to bring Happ home. A 3-run inning rocketed the Cubs to a 5-2 lead!Closing It Out in Style
