A Nail-Biter at Dodger Stadium
What a day to be a San Francisco Giants fan!
Dodgers Strike First, But Giants Respond
For most of the game, both teams put up a strong defensive effort. In the bottom of the 7th inning, the Dodgers' Michael Conforto put them on the board with a single that allowed Max Muncy to score, making it 1-0. However, the Giants responded resolutely! In the top of the 8th, Christian Koss and Drew Gilbert gave us crucial singles before pinch-hitter Patrick Bailey, who was making his only appearance of the game, delivered a ground-rule double to level the score at 1-1.
Clinching the Comeback Victory
Things just got better from there. Rafael Devers, with his smart play, was intentionally walked, setting the stage for Willy Adames. Adames drew a walk that allowed Gilbert to score, giving the Giants the lead.

The bullpen closed it out in the 9th with Muncy, Pages, and Conforto all failing to get on base, securing a sweet win for our Giants. Hope everyone out there is as pumped as I am because this was a team effort all around! Go Giants!
