Mariners Come Out Swinging!

What a game, folks! ⚾️ Our Seattle Mariners came on strong against the Chicago Cubs, taking home an impressive victory at Wrigley Field with a final score of 14-6. It was great to see the bats come alive early and maintain that energy throughout the game. The fireworks started right off the bat in the 1st inning, when Cal Raleigh hit an electrifying homer, bringing J.P. Crawford home as well! It's always satisfying to see those early leads lift the team's spirit.

Consistent Power Hitting

The Mariners maintained control by adding to their lead in the 2nd with Dominic Canzone blasting a home run to left center. Then, in the 4th, Donovan Solano joined the party with his home run, extending our lead. The action kept rolling through the innings as our team didn't back down once. As Randy Arozarena capitalized on an error and our lineup took advantage wherever possible, it truly was an all-around team effort. The 6th inning featured another solo shot by Canzone, his second of the game, and some aggressive base running that turned wild pitches into runs.

Dominating the Late Innings

Our offense was relentless, especially in the 8th inning, where we scored five runs, punctuated by a brilliant two-run double by Randy Arozarena and a clutch single by Cole Young. And let's not forget Solano, who once again came through by knocking in two more runs with a single. Our bullpen did a fantastic job shutting down the Cubs after they showed some fight, including some impressive pitching performances and solid defensive plays. The Mariners played with heart and hustle, making us proud! To end it all, Legumina closed the door in the 9th, ensuring there was no Cubs rally. Here’s to hoping this momentum carries us forward! Go Mariners! 🌊🌟
