Thrilling Victory for the Mariners! 💙💚

What a game, Mariners fans! We kicked things off with a bang and never looked back, ultimately securing a 9-5 victory over the Los Angeles Angels.

Explosive Start in the 1st Inning 🚀

The top of the 1st inning was nothing short of spectacular. After J.P. Crawford flied out, Julio Rodríguez walked to set the stage. Cal Raleigh flied out, but then Randy Arozarena doubled to center, pushing Rodríguez to third. Both Rodríguez and Arozarena managed to score on an error by the Angels. Jorge Polanco reached first on a fielding error, Justin Turner and Dylan Moore were hit by pitches, loading the bases. Mitch Garver then doubled, sending Polanco and Turner home, and Victor Robles singled to score Moore. By the end of the inning, we were up 5-0!

Steady Defense and Key Hits 🛡️⚾

Despite a couple of home runs by Taylor Ward, Mickey Moniak, and Brandon Drury from the Angels, our defense held strong. Julio Rodríguez continued to shine in the 4th inning with a 400-foot homer scoring Crawford. We came out of the inning with the momentum still heavily on our side, leading 7-2.

Holding the Lead and Adding Insurance Runs 🛡️🏃‍♂️

The Angels tried to rally in the 6th inning, bringing the score to 7-5. But Mitch Garver and Victor Robles had other plans. Garver singled to bring Polanco to third, and Robles' infield single pushed Polanco over for an 8-5 lead. We added another insurance run in the 8th when Turner hit a sacrifice fly to bring Rodríguez home, making it 9-5.

Shut Down the Angels: Final Inning 🧹🙅‍♂️

The bottom of the 9th started with Brandon Taylor taking the mound to seal the deal. With a quick and efficient inning, including a final fly out by Taylor Ward, we shut down the Angels and cemented our victory.

Mariners fans, it’s a great day to celebrate this impressive team effort and dominant win! Onward and upward, let’s keep this momentum rolling! ⚾🚀💪
