Mariners Dominate Pirates in 10-3 Victory 🎉

Hey Mariners fans! What a game we had against the Pirates! Our boys absolutely crushed it, coming away with a resounding 10-3 win. Let's dive into the highlights and celebrate some phenomenal performances.

Explosive Start 🏃‍♂️💨

We kicked things off with a bang in the 1st inning. After Julio Rodríguez reached on an infield single, Cal Raleigh sent one flying over the right-field fence, giving us an early 2-0 lead. Luke Raley and Justin Turner kept the momentum going with back-to-back singles, but we couldn't add on more runs. Still, a fantastic start!

Rally Continues in the 2nd Inning 🚀

The 2nd inning saw more firepower. Josh Rojas singled to start us off, and Leo Rivas walked, putting runners on first and second. Then, Victor Robles doubled to left, scoring Rojas and advancing Rivas to third. Thanks to a fielding error by Oneil Cruz, both Rivas and Robles came around to score, extending our lead to 4-0!

Solo Shots and Steady Offense 💣

Josh Rojas continued the hitting parade with a solo homer in the 4th, making it 5-0. Errors plagued the Pirates, and Julio Rodríguez's grounder allowed another run to score, followed by a sac fly from Luke Raley, pushing our lead to 7-0. Dominic Canzone joined the party with a solo homer in the 5th, extending the lead to 8-0.

Pirates Strike Back ⚔️

The Pirates showed some life in the 6th inning. Joey Bart hit a two-run homer, their only significant blow, cutting our lead to 8-2. Despite the small rally, we kept our composure and continued to dominate.

Insurance Runs 💰

In the 7th inning, we added some insurance runs. Luke Raley singled, and Dylan Moore—who ran for Jorge Polanco—added more speed on the bases. After Justin Turner was hit by a pitch, Dominic Canzone grounded into a double play but allowed Raley to score, making it 9-2. Leo Rivas followed up with an RBI single, pushing our lead to 10-2.

Shutting the Door 🚪🔒

Our bullpen did an excellent job preserving the lead. Despite a small push from the Pirates in the 8th, scoring one more run, Chris Voth and Sam Taylor kept their bats quiet for the final innings. The game ended at 10-3, a convincing win for our Mariners!

Key Performers ⭐

Great job team! 🎉 Let's keep this momentum going in the next game. Go Mariners! ⚓🧢
