Rays Bat Off with a Bang!

What a game, Rays fans! 😃 Our boys put on an absolute show, defeating the Mariners with an emphatic 11-3 victory! The action began right in the bottom of the 1st inning when Yandy Díaz launched a 397-foot homer to left field, putting us on the board early. Despite a couple of strikeouts, it was clear our bats were hungry for more!

Strong Start to the 2nd Inning!

In the 2nd inning, Jose Siri kept the momentum going by singling to right, allowing Richie Palacios to score after his double. This put us up 2-0. Though we didn't add more runs this inning, it was obvious that the Mariners were struggling against our hitters.

Mariners Briefly Tie It Up

The Mariners managed to tie the game 2-2 in the top of the 5th inning, courtesy of a two-run homer from Ty France. But our Rays quickly refused to let that get them down. In the bottom of the 5th inning, though we couldn’t capitalize on loaded positions, it was evident we were still in control.

Super 6th and 7th Innings! 🏆

This game noticeably turned in our favor during the 6th. Jose Siri and Richie Palacios walked, setting the stage for Taylor Walls who tripled to right, bringing in both runners! Ben Rortvedt further showcased our power with a stunning two-run homer to right center. We ended the inning leading 6-2.
In the 7th inning, Josh Lowe walked and stole second, later scoring thanks to a single from Richie Palacios. Errors from the Mariners’ fielders also contributed to expanding our lead to 9-3 by inning’s end.

Ice the Game with the 8th & 9th Innings!

We sealed the deal in the bottom of the 8th inning, with Isaac Paredes delivering a two-run homer after Jose Caballero reached on an error. This brought our total to 11-3. The Mariners had no answers coming into the 9th, as their batters went down quickly, leaving the final score standing at 11-3.

Victory for the Rays! 🌟

With spectacular performances from Yandy Díaz, Jose Siri, Richie Palacios, Taylor Walls, and Ben Rortvedt, this win was a fantastic team effort. Kudos to our pitchers for keeping the Mariners at bay! Rays fans, let's savor this sweet victory and look forward to our next game!
