Rough Night for the Rangers

It was a tough game for our Texas Rangers last night, as we fell to the Seattle Mariners with a final score of 4-0. Our boys showed glimpses of potential but ultimately couldn't capitalize on their opportunities. 😞

Early Lead for the Mariners

The Mariners wasted no time, securing an early lead in the top of the 1st inning, thanks to a homer by Cal Raleigh, bringing in J.P. Crawford and setting the tone with a 2-0 lead. Our Rangers tried to respond in the bottom of the 1st; Corey Seager and Adolis García even managed walks, but we just couldn't convert.

Rangers’ Struggles Continue

The 3rd inning saw the Mariners extend their lead to 4-0 with a Julio Rodríguez homer, a hard pill to swallow early in the game. 😔 Our pitching tried to hold them off, with Dane Dunning and later José Ureña, among others, taking the mound to stem the tide. Despite a few close calls and defensive efforts, including double plays, the Mariners' early runs stood firm.

Missed Opportunities

Despite a solid double by Nathaniel Lowe in the 7th and some walks scattered throughout the game that provided hope, the Rangers couldn't break through the Mariners' defense. Andres Muñoz, the closer for the Mariners, shut down our final attempts in the bottom of the 9th, leaving Josh Smith to ground into a double play and end the game.

Final Thoughts

It's always tough to see our Rangers struggle, especially when our offense can't seem to find its rhythm. Still, we stand with our team through thick and thin. 💪 Here's hoping our boys can shake off tonight's loss, regroup, and come back stronger. Let's go Rangers! 💙🤍🔴
