Heartbreaking Extra-Inning Loss
Well, Rangers fans, that was a rollercoaster of a game that didn't quite go our way. Our boys battled hard against the Mariners, but alas, fell short in the 12th inning with a 7-6 loss.Seager's Stellar Start
We kicked things off with a bang, thanks to a solo home run by Corey Seager in the first inning.
That put us on the board and tied the game at 1-1. Seager was phenomenal throughout, showing why he's such a crucial part of our lineup.Comeback Kids
After trailing 5-1 by the 6th inning, our Rangers rallied back with a fantastic bottom of the 6th. Adolis García delivered a clutch two-run single, trimming the Mariners' lead to 5-4. Sam Haggerty kept the momentum going in the 7th inning by driving in Josh Smith to tie it up at 5-5. It was game on!
Extra-Inning Tension
The Mariners pulled ahead in the 10th, but Adolis García responded with a sacrifice fly that tied it again, 6-6. Despite our heroic efforts, Randy Arozarena scored for the Mariners in the 12th, and we couldn't quite find the magic to respond.Looking Forward
Despite the heartbreak, tonight's game proved that our Rangers have plenty of fight in them. As a fan, it's painful to watch us come so close and not take home the win, but there’s hope on the horizon.
