This was the kind of rollercoaster ride that keeps us on the edge of our seats and why we love this game so much! Let's dive into the highlights of this thrilling encounter.Early Lead and Rangers Comeback
The Mariners got off to a fiery start in the first inning with Jorge Polanco driving in Julio RodrÃguez for the opening run.
The mid-innings were a see-saw of emotions as the Rangers clawed their way back, narrowing the gap. Despite an impressive showing by Logan Gilbert and our bullpen, the Rangers tied the game at 5-5 late into the seventh inning, pushing us into extra innings.

Extra-Inning Drama!
Heading into extra innings, the drama truly unfolded. It was nerve-wracking as Donovan Solano and our Mariners’ lineup kept testing the Rangers' defense. Though the game extended into the 12th inning tied at 6-6, our hopes lifted when Miles Mastrobuoni came through in the clutch, driving in new call-up Randy Arozarena to take the lead 7-6!
Closing It Out
With hearts pounding, our bullpen remained steadfast. Eduard Bazardo closed out the bottom of the 12th without allowing any further runs. Huge kudos to our relief pitchers who handled the pressure like pros, ensuring the Rangers didn’t score again. The entire pitching staff deserves a shoutout for weathering the storm and working as a unit throughout the high-tension game!
It was an all-around team effort that demonstrated the grit and tenacity of our Mariners. A fantastic win that leaves us all excited to see what the rest of the season holds! Go Mariners!
