Dominant Pitching Leads the Cardinals to Victory
Oh, what a game, Cardinals fans!
Our boys put on a show against the Cleveland Guardians, coming out with a commanding 5-0 win and showcasing both incredible pitching skills and some smashing hits! From the very first inning, it was clear that our pitchers were in command, and the Guardians just couldn’t catch a break. 
Scoring Kick-off with Pagés’ Power
The action truly began in the top of the third inning when Pedro Pagés stepped up and launched a massive homer to left field, traveling 381 feet and giving us the first run of the game!
What a way to fire up the Cardinals! The momentum kept going with a two-run blast by Alec Burleson, who sent a beauty 368 feet over the right field wall, scoring Masyn Winn in the process. Just like that, we were up 3-0, and the Guardians didn't know what hit them. 
Securing the Lead with Stellar Plays
The Cardinals weren’t done yet. After a cool double by Alec Burleson in the sixth inning, Nolan Arenado smacked a double of his own to right, allowing Burleson to score and extend our lead even further to 4-0. In the eighth, Arenado came through again, this time with a single to left field, bringing home Willson Contreras for the fifth and final run of the game. Talk about clutch performance!
Kudos to our pitching crew and fielders for maintaining the shutout against the Guardians. It was a team effort that highlighted both offensive firepower and defensive precision. This game reminded us why we bleed red – Go Cardinals!
