A Nail-Biter in Milwaukee!

What a game, folks! The St. Louis Cardinals pulled off a thrilling 3-2 win over the Brewers in extra innings! 🎉 From the very first inning, the Cards showcased some classic resilience and grit.

Strong Start

Right off the bat, we took control. Paul Goldschmidt started things off with a single to center. Then, Nolan Arenado smashed a ground-rule double, putting Goldy on third. After Brendan Donovan got hit by a pitch to load the bases, Ivan Herrera walked, sending Goldschmidt home for the first run. Lars Nootbaar added another by walking Arenado in. Just like that, we were up 2-0.

Pitchers' Duel

Mid-game turned into a defensive showcase. Kudos to our pitching staff for keeping the Brewers off the board through six innings. Ryan Fernandez and the bullpen were lights out. The Crew tried to fight back with Garrett Mitchell's triple and Eric Haase's homer, but our defense and tactical pitching changes kept them in check.

Tense Moments and Clutch Plays

The bottom of the 8th was heart-stopping. Haase homered to tie it at 2-2. But our boys didn't flinch. In the top of the 10th, Arenado was intentionally walked, opening the door for Luken Baker's heroics. Baker came through with a clutch single to center, bringing in Masyn Winn for what turned out to be the winning run! 🥳

Fernandez Closes It Out

In the bottom of the 10th, Ryan Fernandez took the mound again and delivered magic. After getting Haase and Turang to strike out, he intentionally walked Chourio before striking out Rhys Hoskins to seal the win. Cardinals take it 3-2! 🎊

An extraordinary win, Cardinals fans! On to the next! Let's keep this momentum going! Go Cards! 🚀⚾
