Big 6-1 Win for the Cardinals! 
What a game, Cardinals Nation! We put together a solid performance against the Twins, walking away with an impressive 6-1 victory. Let's break down the action! 
Quiet Start, but Cardinals Heat Up 
The first couple of innings were a bit slow for us. Masyn Winn, Alec Burleson, and Willson Contreras all went down without much noise in the 1st inning. The Twins did score in the bottom of the 2nd, with Jeffers coming home, but little did they know that was to be their only run of the game.Breaking the Ice in the 3rd Inning 
After a few more quiet outs, Victor Scott II stole second and Masyn Winn drove him in with a crucial single to tie the game, 1-1. That's the kind of hustle we love to see! 
The 4th Inning Explosion 
Our bats came to life in the 4th inning. Willson Contreras and Brendan Donovan got on base, and then Lars Nootbaar delivered a huge double to bring them both home, putting us up 3-1. That was a momentum shifter! Luken Baker pinch-hit and got on base to keep the pressure on. Adding Insurance Runs 
In the 6th inning, Brendan Donovan blasted a solo homer to center, extending our lead to 4-1. His bat was on fire today! We tacked on another two runs in the 8th inning, thanks to a sac fly from Masyn Winn and some smart base-running.Shutting It Down 
Our pitching staff was lights-out after that 2nd inning. Fantastic work from Pallante, King, and Fernandez in relief, ensuring the Twins couldn't mount a comeback. Cannot say enough about the composure of our bullpen to slam the door shut.Key Performances
