White Sox Triumph Over Rays in Thrilling Clash!

Our Sox started to build momentum in the bottom of the 3rd thanks to a sacrifice fly by Andrew Vaughn, bringing in Tommy Pham for the first score of the game. The bottom of the 4th inning saw Danny Mendick doubling to left and Paul DeJong bringing him home with a single to left. The energy was palpable, but it was the 6th inning that really turned up the heat. Martin Maldonado smashed a homer to left, sending Mendick and DeJong home and putting the Sox up 5-0!

We sealed the deal in the 8th inning, with Adam Engel hitting a sacrifice fly to bring in Maldonado, followed by a wild pitch that allowed Nicky Lopez to score, making it a glorious 9-3 lead. The Rays managed one last run in the 9th, but it was too late. The celebration was on as the Sox clinched a well-deserved 9-4 victory.
