Rough Day for the Rangers
It was a tough outing for our Texas Rangers as they squared off against the Baltimore Orioles today. We started off with Sam Haggerty making some contact but lining out to left. Wyatt Langford and Marcus Semien both went down on strikes, keeping the game even after the first inning.
Orioles Take the Lead
Our boys remained scoreless through the third inning, despite a promising single by Adolis García. The Orioles, on the other hand, broke through in the third when Chadwick Tromp doubled, followed by a clutch double from Jackson Holliday to bring Tromp home. The score stood at 1-0.Rangers Struggled to Rally
In the fifth inning, those pesky Orioles extended their lead with a three-run homer from Jackson Holliday, making it 4-0. Our line-up still couldn't quite find a rhythm, and despite a couple of hits here and there, we struggled to mount a comeback as the game slipped away.Final Score: Rangers 0, Orioles 6
Unfortunately, the bottom of the sixth saw another run for the Orioles, tacking on when Sánchez scored after a groundout. As if the score wasn't unsatisfactory enough, the seventh inning added insult to injury with a sacrifice fly, sealing our fate at 6-0. Let’s hope our team bounces back with energy and focus next time!
