A Rollercoaster Start

The Texas Rangers had a promising start in the top of the 1st inning when Corey Seager doubled to center, and Josh Smith followed up with a single to score Seager. It looked like we were off to a strong start! However, the inning ended quickly as Adolis García grounded into a double play. 😔

Maintaining the Lead ... Briefly

The Rangers managed to hold the Brewers scoreless through the 1st and 2nd innings, thanks to solid pitching and defense. William Contreras singled in the 1st for Milwaukee, and Brice Turang added a hit in the 2nd, but we held tight! 💪

Brewers Tie It Up

The Brewers finally got on the board in the 3rd inning when William Contreras doubled and later scored on a single by Jackson Chourio. Our guys were giving it their all, but it was all tied up at 1-1. ⚾

Silent Bats for the Rangers

From the 2nd through 6th innings, our bats went silent. Despite efforts from Wyatt Langford, Nathaniel Lowe, and others, we couldn't push across any more runs. 😐

Brewers Take the Lead

The bottom of the 5th was a turning point when Joey Ortiz homered to left, giving the Brewers a 2-1 lead. Despite allowing a few more base runners, Dane Dunning came in and shut down the threat.

Defensive Struggles Continue

Unfortunately, in the bottom of the 7th, Christian Yelich scored on a single by Rhys Hoskins, extending the Brewers' lead to 3-1. Our bullpen did their best, but they couldn't keep Milwaukee from tacking on insurance runs. 😣

Fighting Until the End

In the 8th, Jonah Heim gave us some hope with a single, but we couldn't capitalize. Heading into the 9th, we still had a chance. Corey Seager struck out to start the inning, but Josh Smith got hit by a pitch to get on base. Unfortunately, Adolis García popped out and Wyatt Langford grounded out to end the game.

Final Thoughts

Tough loss, folks. Despite a solid start, our offense just couldn't break through Milwaukee's pitching after that first run. We’ve got the talent – just need to string it together. Let’s gear up and get the next one! 💙❤️
