Early Inning Pitcher's Duel
The first three innings were all about the pitchers with both teams showing some stellar defense. We had a brief scare in the bottom of the 2nd as the Yankees scored their first run, bringing the score to 1-0. But our boys kept their composure and didn't let the Yankees' early lead deter them.
Rangers' Bats Come Alive in the 4th
It was the top of the 4th when the Rangers decided to turn things around. Wyatt Langford singled to left, setting the stage. Adolis García then brought him home with a single, equalizing the score at 1-1. This was the beginning of our offensive explosion!
Massive 6th Inning Rally
The 6th inning was an absolute spectacle. We saw hits from Nathaniel Lowe, García, and Leody Taveras. The highlight of the inning was Corey Seager smashing a 3-run homer to right, driving in Taveras and Carson Kelly. By the end of this inning, the Rangers had taken a commanding 6-1 lead!
Add-On Runs in the 7th
The Rangers didn't rest on their laurels and continued to pile on the runs in the 7th inning. Doubles from Taveras and singles by Kelly and Josh Smith expanded our lead to 9-1. The Yankees had no answer for our relentless offense!
Late Yankees Surge Comes Up Short
The Yankees showed some fight in the bottom of the 8th, with Giancarlo Stanton and Jazz Chisholm Jr. hitting back-to-back homers. But our bullpen held their ground, and the Yankees' efforts were not enough to close the gap. A solid 9-4 victory was secured by the Rangers!
Final Thoughts
It was an absolute treat to see our Rangers dominate at Yankee Stadium. Stellar pitching, clutch hitting, and tight defense were the keys to this win. Let's keep this momentum going, Rangers!
