Rays Keep Rolling!

What a game, Rays fans! 😎 Our boys put on a clinic against the Nationals and came out with a dominant 5-0 victory.

First Inning: A Slow Start

The game started quietly for both teams. In the top of the first, the Nationals couldn't get anything going as CJ Abrams, Lane Thomas, and Harold Ramirez all struck out or grounded out. Our Rays had a similar beginning as Yandy Diaz, Randy Arozarena, and Amed Rosario were quickly retired.

Second Inning: The Fireworks Begin 🎇

The second inning was all Rays. Isaac Paredes launched a solo homer to left-center, giving us a 1-0 lead. Then, Jose Caballero hit a two-run shot, scoring Jonny DeLuca, and suddenly we were up 3-0. 💥 What a way to get the game going!

Building the Lead

In the fourth inning, Paredes tripled and Jose Siri followed with a sacrifice fly to expand the lead to 4-0. Paredes was absolutely on fire tonight! 🔥

Seventh Inning: Arozarena Adds On

Randy Arozarena showcased his power with a colossal homer to left in the seventh inning, adding another insurance run to make it 5-0. Boom! 💣

Shutdown Pitching

Our pitching staff was untouchable tonight! Poché, Adam, Cleavinger, and Maton combined to keep the Nationals scoreless and struck out 15 batters in total. They were all dealing! ⚾🥳

Final Thoughts

An all-around solid performance for the Rays! From clutch hitting to lights-out pitching, this team showed why we’re a force to be reckoned with. Another win in the books, and here's to many more! Go Rays! 🌟🔵🟡
