A Fight to the Finish
What a rollercoaster of emotions this game turned out to be! Despite an intense back-and-forth battle with the Houston Astros, our boys in orange and black fell just short with a final score of 5-4 after twelve grueling innings.
Tough Start, Fighting Back
The first half of the game saw the Astros taking an early lead. We had a few quiet innings before the excitement kicked up in the 5th inning when Dylan Carlson crushed a two-run homer, sending Daniel Johnson home and putting us right back into contending territory.

Edge-of-Your-Seat Extras
Both teams held fast through the 9th to the 11th innings without letting up on the scoreboard, keeping us all on the edge of our seats. Our bullpen deserves credit for holding strong there! The tension was palpable when Ryan Mountcastle almost brought us closer in the 11th, but the Astros defense held their own, eventually getting the win in the 12th inning after a close fielder's choice allowed Carlos Correa to slide home for the win.A Game to Remember
While it's ultimately not the result we hoped for, our Orioles showed heart and determination. There's still a lot to smile about, including key plays from our lineup and that never-quit attitude. We might have fallen short, but we'll take this energy into our next matchups. Keep your heads up, O's fans! Let's go Birds!
