What a fantastic night for the Arizona Diamondbacks as they triumph over the Boston Red Sox with a decisive 5-1 victory! 
Though the start of the game was quiet, it came alive early when Adrian Del Castillo and James McCann got on base in the second inning. A crucial error on a grounder by Jake McCarthy allowed both runners to score, giving us a promising lead. A sacrifice fly by Geraldo Perdomo capped off an impressive three-run inning. 
Diamondbacks' Pitching and Defense Shine
The Diamondbacks' pitchers kept the Red Sox batters on the ropes. Our defensive lineup was lights-out, playing clean infield defense, which didn’t allow the Sox to string together any comeback efforts. It's worth spotlighting how our players consistently fielded grounders and fly balls, stalling the Red Sox offense.

Later, Jake McCarthy found himself in clutch situations, delivering with an RBI single in the 4th inning to stretch our lead to 4-1. Our rally continued in the 7th inning when Blaze Alexander brought home Ketel Marte on a sac fly, further extending the lead and sealing the 5-1 victory for Arizona.
