Reds Early Lead
Despite the final score, the Reds started strong in this game. Elly De La Cruz kicked things off in the second inning with a towering home run to center field, giving us a 1-0 lead.

Brewers Bounce Back
The Brewers answered back quickly. In the bottom of the third inning, Jackson Chourio and Brice Turang combined their efforts to add the first run for Milwaukee, with Turang securing a crucial RBI double. Further trouble arose when Danny Jansen launched a two-run homer in the fourth inning, giving the Brewers a 3-2 lead. As if we needed more heartache, Andrew Vaughn extended their lead to 4-2 with a double of his own in the same inning.Reds Falter in Finale
Despite a spirited start, our bats cooled off from then on. The Brewers' bullpen was relentless, with Aaron Ashby and others managing to shut down our lineup through the remaining innings. Opportunities were scarce, and every time we seemed to gain a foot in the door, Milwaukee closed it. The ninth inning saw us unable to rally back, and we fell to the Brewers, 4-2.It's a tough loss for the Reds, but with players like De La Cruz and Friedl showing promise, hope remains high for the coming games. We’ll bounce back, Reds fans! Keep the faith!
