Tough Matchup Against the Dodgers
Hey Rockies fans!

Another tough matchup against the Los Angeles Dodgers, and while it wasn't the result we were hoping for, there were some notable moments in tonight's game. We faced off against a talented Dodgers lineup, which proved challenging from the get-go. Unfortunately, our boys couldn't generate much early on, with the first few innings going quickly without scoring.
Struggles at the Plate
In the early innings, our bats were cold

.
Tyler Freeman,
Mickey Moniak, and
Hunter Goodman went down swiftly in the first inning, and the struggles continued through the 2nd and 3rd innings. The Dodgers took the lead in the bottom of the second when
Will Smith capitalized on a wild pitch, and they never looked back, with
Mookie Betts and others extending their lead as the game went on.
Bright Spots and a Hard-Fought Finish
Despite the 2-7 loss, we did have some bright spots. In the 6th inning,
Kyle Karros and
Yanquiel Fernandez got the ball rolling with back-to-back singles, leading to
Freeman's RBI hit. And how about that 9th inning dinger by
Hunter Goodman?!

His impressive homer gave us a late jolt, reminding us of the team's power potential.
Jordan Beck also showed resilience with a late double. It wasn't enough to turn the tide tonight, but it's something we can build on for our next game. Keep your heads up, Rockies fans!
As always, let's keep supporting our team and look forward to bouncing back in the next one! Go Rockies!
