Tough Start for the Twins
The Minnesota Twins faced a tough challenge today

Mid-Game Comeback
The Tigers extended their lead to 2-0 in the third inning with a homer from Kerry Carpenter which added to our early woes. Fortunately, our bats woke up in the fifth inning with a big three-run counter. Luke Keaschall started it with a walk, followed by a single from Ryan Jeffers. Brooks Lee then dazzled with a crucial triple, plating both runners to finally tie us up at 2-2. Royce Lewis continued the momentum with a sacrifice fly to put the Twins in the lead, 3-2.
Battle 'til the End
The Tigers' response came swiftly, tying it up, and retaking the lead in the seventh inning with our bullpen struggling to contain their bats. Kudos to Wenceel Pérez and Jahmai Jones for some timely hitting. Despite a battling effort from our lineup in the seventh, we only managed to push across two more runs, leaving us at a 6-5 deficit. As we tried to fight back in the later innings, the Tigers capitalized on an error extending the lead to 8-5, securing their victory.
Our Twins played their hearts out, and despite the loss, spots during the game showcased our potential. As always, we hold our heads high and look forward to a chance of redemption in the next game. Go Twins!
