Astros Take Charge Against Angels
What a game it was for our Houston Astros!
Early Lead and Offensive Burst
In the first inning, with Mauricio Dubón knocking a single and Victor Caratini bravely taking a hit by pitch, Yainer Diaz wasted no time, sending Dubón home with a crisp single to center field for our first score. The Astros established control in the 5th inning with some fireworks. Yainer Diaz lit up the field with a booming 411-foot homer to break the tie. Soon after, Ramon UrÃas sent a two-run home run out of the park, and Brice Matthews followed suit with a solo blast, expanding our lead to 5-1. Victor Caratini wasn’t done yet—he smashed another one 417 feet in the 6th inning, making it 6-1 in favor of the Astros.
Pitching Stifles Angels' Efforts
The pitching crew kept the Angels in check, and though Mike Trout managed to find the seats early with a solo homer, our guys didn't budge under pressure. Strong outings from our bullpen, including Gordon and Murray, ensured that the Angels found it hard to rally back. After a minor threat and score by the Angels in the 9th, Ward was the final victim to seal their fate with a strikeout.

What a fantastic performance from the Astros! An assertive team win that showcased both powerful hitting and effective pitching. Onward and upward, Astros!
