Game Recap: Diamondbacks Rally Past Dodgers 5-4
What a game, fellow Diamondbacks fans! Watching the D-backs come back from a 4-0 deficit to beat the Los Angeles Dodgers was nothing short of thrilling.
Game Highlights
The game started off rocky for our Diamondbacks with the Dodgers taking an early lead. Unfortunately, Teoscar Hernández homered in the 2nd inning, and then tripled two more runners home in the 6th to put the Dodgers up 3-0. Following a solo homer by Ben Rortvedt in the 7th, the score was 4-0 in the Dodgers’ favor. But our boys never gave up!
in the bottom of the 7th inning, James McCann doubled, bringing our first run across the plate. Moments later, pinch hitter Adrian Del Castillo crushed a two-run homer over right field (405 feet!) to narrow the gap to 3-4. The tide was turning!
Exciting Comeback
Heading into the 9th inning, we were still down by one. But no worries, as our persistence paid off! Ildemaro Vargas got the momentum going by getting hit by a pitch. Then, Tim Tawa walked, moving Vargas to second. The excitement built as Jorge Barrosa hit a sacrifice fly to left, bringing Vargas home and tying the score at 4-4. The deciding moment came when Geraldo Perdomo singled to left, allowing Tawa to score and sealing our incredible 5-4 win!

The Diamondbacks displayed an unwavering fighting spirit tonight, making our fans proud with this magnificent comeback win. It's nights like these that remind us why we love baseball and why we root for the Diamondbacks. Onward and upward, D-backs! Let's keep this momentum going!
