Tough Loss in Extra Innings
What a rollercoaster of a game! We took the Dodgers to the wire but unfortunately fell 5-4 in the 11th inning
. It's always a battle when the Dodgers are in town, and today's game was no exception. The D-backs showed plenty of grit, and it was a match filled with moments to cheer for, especially Corbin Carroll and his blazing speed as he stole two bases early on.Key Plays Keep Us in the Game
Ketel Marte got things started on the right foot with a double and subsequently scored on a sacrifice fly by Gabriel Moreno that tied the game 1-1 early. The Dodgers were relentless though, with Andy Pages homering in the 4th to put them ahead 3-1. Despite this, our guys didn't back down. The 8th inning brought some real excitement. Carroll doubled, bringing Marte home, and then it was Moreno again who managed to reach base and allow us to tie up the game at 4-4 with the help of a sacrifice fly from Adrian Del Castillo.Nothing to Be Ashamed Of
The Dodgers snatched the win with a go-ahead single in the 11th, but what a fight it was! Our Diamondbacks put up a brave battle till the very end, especially considering the game was neck and neck through most of the innings. We might not have secured the win, but let's keep the faith in our team and look forward to them bouncing back in the next game. Go D-backs!
