Starting Off on the Wrong Foot
Hey Marlins fans!

Things Get Worse Before They Get Better
As we moved into the 3rd inning, Trevor Story homered to left field, adding three more runs to the Red Sox’s tally and pushing the score to 6-0. Our spirits were lifted slightly in the 5th inning when Troy Johnston showed some power with a fantastic solo home run that cut the deficit to 7-1. However, we just couldn't string hits together and the Red Sox continued to control the game.
A Late Surge
Despite the score, our guys didn't quit. Agustin Ramírez hit a solo homer in the 7th, which set the stage for a remarkable fightback in the top of the 9th! Heriberto Hernández's single brought Ramírez home. Then, Eric Wagaman tripled to left, bringing Hernández in to score. Derek Hill followed with a single that scored Wagaman, narrowing the gap to just two runs at 7-5. Unfortunately, our rally was cut short after a pitching change by Boston, and the game ended with the Red Sox on top. It was a valiant effort and definitely something we can build on for the rest of the season. Go Marlins!
