Tough Loss at The K
Hey Twins fans!
Rough First Inning for Our Pitching
It all started off on the wrong foot for our Minnesota Twins. Mike Yastrzemski walked, setting up an early scoring opportunity for Kansas City. Vinnie Pasquantino hit a double, scoring Yastrzemski. The next blow was a home run by Salvador Perez, driving in Maikel Garcia and Pasquantino. By the end of the first inning, the Royals were up 5-0. Ouch!
A Glimmer of Hope in the 3rd
Our boys did show some fight in the top of the third inning! James Outman doubled to left, and Byron Buxton came through with a thrilling triple, bringing Outman home. Trevor Larnach and Luke Keaschall also put up a valiant effort, with Keaschall grounding out but managing to score Buxton. That brought us to 5-2.
Royals Continue Their Run
Unfortunately, the Royals didn't let up. They added more runs between the 3rd and 6th innings, ultimately putting the game out of reach with a score of 11-2. Even though Matt Wallner and Edouard Julien tried to hustle, it wasn't enough to overcome Kansas City's strong showing.Looking Ahead
It's never fun to see our Twins on the losing end, but let's keep our spirits high and look forward to the next game. We know the talent and determination our lineup has, and we'll bounce back from this one. Time to regroup, push forward, and get back to our winning ways!
Go Twins!
