Victory and Drama in Extra Innings
Hey Phillies fans! What a thrilling game it was at Citizens Bank Park! Our Phillies took on the Minnesota Twins, delivering a heart-stopping extra-innings win against the boys from up north.
A Tense Start
Both teams started strong defensively, trading scoreless innings all the way to the 6th. Our pitchers did a great job keeping the Twins in check. The first half saw Alec Bohm, Brandon Marsh, and Nick Castellanos all striking out swinging in a tough second inning. But hey, we knew it was only a matter of time before the tide would turn!
Kepler's Clutch Homer
In the bottom of the 8th, with the Twins leading 1-0 courtesy of Ryan Jeffers earlier hit, Max Kepler stepped up to launch a breathtaking homer to right-center field. That solo shot tied it up and set the stage for an intense finale. Boom!

Heroic Finish in the 10th
Our bullpen held firm in the top of the 10th with Orion Kerkering striking out all three batters, setting us up for a thrilling finish. In the bottom half, Harrison Bader came in to pinch-run for Alec Bohm and advanced to third on Weston Wilson's sacrifice bunt. The atmosphere became electric as Nick Castellanos hit a crucial sacrifice fly to center, bringing Bader home to win it 2-1!We couldn't have asked for a more exciting win! Go Phillies!
