Tough Battle in Toronto
Well, Yankees fans, it was a tough one in Toronto today as our boys in pinstripes took on the Blue Jays in a nail-biter.
Trent Grisham started things off for us but unfortunately struck out swinging. It was a quiet first inning all around with neither team managing to get on the scoreboard. Our bats were pretty quiet in the early going, with Aaron Judge also striking out in the first inning. 
️Chisholm Jr. Sparks Some Hope!
The 4th inning finally brought some excitement! Jazz Chisholm Jr. lit up the board with an electrifying homer to the right, scoring Trent Grisham and making it 2-0 for the Yankees.
But, in the bottom of the 5th, the Blue Jays broke through with Vladimir Guerrero Jr. scraping the deficit to 2-1. Our guys held onto the narrow lead, but we felt the tension rising. 
Fighting to the Finish
Into the 6th, our hopes soared once more as Giancarlo Stanton drove in Jasson Domínguez to make it 3-1. However, the Blue Jays weren’t going quietly. With some unfortunate errors and wild pitches, the Jays roared back to take a 5-3 lead after a big 6th inning. Just when it seemed bleak, our resilient Cody Bellinger hammered a solo home run in the 8th to cut the deficit to one.
But sadly, despite Judge reaching base and a solid effort by the bullpen, we couldn’t find the tying run, and the game concluded with a 5-4 loss.
