Phillies' Resilient Comeback
What an exhilarating game for us Phillies fans!
The game didn't start as we hoped, with the Diamondbacks taking an early lead in the first inning. Ketel Marte launched a solo homer, and they managed another run, putting them up 2-0. But fear not, as our Phillies didn't let that deter them!Strong Defensive Stance
After the initial inning, our pitching and defense tightened up. J.T. Realmuto and the rest of the defense held strong, and plays from guys like Alec Bohm and Nick Castellanos kept the Diamondbacks from further stretching their lead. The Diamondbacks were unable to add to their score while we mounted our comeback.Offensive Surge!
We started to see the magic in the second inning with Brandon Marsh scoring off a double from Alec Bohm. The real turning point was in the 5th inning when Harrison Bader smashed a homer to tie it up 2-2!
️ Following this, Weston Wilson drove in Marsh, giving us the lead. In the 8th inning, Nick Castellanos launched a two-run homer after a fielding error, putting us up 5-2. But the guys were far from done!Sealing the Victory
In the 9th inning, the Phillies truly shined. Bohm and Castellanos pushed across more runs, thanks to sharp hits and smart base running. Our bats were on fire, and we closed out the game with an impressive 8-2 victory.Final Cheers
