An Intense Comeback
What a game, Cardinals fans!

A Game of Missed Chances
For most of the game, it felt like we couldn’t catch a break. Despite efforts from Lars Nootbaar and Victor Scott II, hits were just not stringing together into runs, thanks to well-placed defensive plays by the Giants. Our pitchers kept us in the game, and shoutout to Pallante, Leahy, and O'Brien for keeping the Giants from running away with it. We stayed hopeful in the stands, but I won't lie, it was a long wait for that breakthrough. The Electrifying 9th Inning Comeback
The bottom of the 9th proved why you should never leave a game early. Down 0-2, we saw a determined resilience from the Cardinals. It all started with Nolan Gorman getting us going with a single to center. Masyn Winn followed with another single, and before you knew it, tension mounted as Jimmy Crooks got hit by a pitch – bases loaded! Garrett Hampson running for Crooks was a genius move. Thomas Saggese stepped up, driving in Gorman with a single to put us on the board, 1-2! It was then Jordan Walker who blew the roof off Busch Stadium with a glorious double to left that sent both Winn and Hampson home, clinching the victory at 3-2.

What a finish! All in all, it was a thrilling rollercoaster of a game that truly exemplified the grit of our Cardinals. With performances like these, there’s a lot to look forward to this season. Let's stay loud and keep cheering them on, Cardinals Nation!
