Pitching Dominance and Key Hits
What a game for our Baltimore Orioles!
A fantastic performance by our pitching staff ensured a shutout against the Rangers, with Jackson Holliday leading the charge on offense. The scoring began in the bottom of the third when Holliday doubled to right, allowing Chadwick Tromp to score the game's first run. But the real fireworks came in the fifth inning, with Holliday launching a three-run bomb to center field, driving in Coby Mayo and Cedric Mullins. The team wasn't done yet. In the sixth, Gary Sánchez and Ramon Urías got us started with singles, followed by a brilliant bunt single from Colton Cowser to load the bases. Mayo capitalized on this situation with a groundout that scored Sánchez, which made the scoreboard read 5-0. Later, in the seventh inning, our insurance run came from a sacrifice fly by Urías, bringing home Ramon Laureano. Our bullpen shut things down the rest of the way. Andrew Kittredge came in to seal the deal in the ninth inning, and his steady hand kept the Rangers off the board. It was a true team effort, with terrific performances on both sides of the game. Everyone pitched in to secure this dominant 6-0 victory, reaffirming our position as the team to beat. Way to go, Orioles!
