Thrilling Start to the Game
Wow, what a game for our New York Yankees!

We started off strong against the Blue Jays, reminding us why we bleed pinstripes. Right off the bat in the first inning,
Aaron Judge displayed his great eye with a walk

. When
Cody Bellinger followed with a single, you could feel the momentum building. Then came the highlight:
Ben Rice powered a 380-foot homer that sent the Yankee Stadium crowd into a frenzy!
Judge and
Bellinger both scored, bringing the score to 3-0. What a fantastic swing by
Rice!
Maintaining the Lead
As the Blue Jays attempted to catch up, our defense held strong thanks in part to our ace fielding.

Even with a couple of slip-ups that allowed them to tie the game at 3-3 by the middle of the third inning, our guys didn’t lose their cool. It was during the bottom of the third inning that
Bellinger came through again, doubling to center field and bringing
Judge home, putting us back in control with a score of 4-3. The determination was palpable!
Holding It Down
The rest of the game was a defensive battle, with our guys holding the Blue Jays scoreless for the remaining innings. Pitchers came through when it mattered most.
Aaron Judge kept the pressure on by walking twice more, making sure the Blue Jays knew he was ready to strike again.
David Bednar sealed the deal by closing out the ninth inning—you could almost hear the collective sigh of relief as
Lukes was caught stealing, and
Myles Straw's grounder secured our victory.

It ended with a final score of 4-3, Yankees on top. Overall, a solid team performance that kept us on the edge of our seats.
Let's keep this momentum going, Yankees fans!
